Our recommended resource this week is BlueGlass LA 2010, an online marketing conference taking place next month in Los Angeles.
This conference will bring together more than 20 online marketing experts, including Clix Marketing CEO David Szetela, MySpace Senior Marketing Manager Tony Adam, and Director of Technical Marketing for Yahoo! Media Laura Lippay.
The event will take place on Monday, July 19, and Tuesday, July 20, at the Marina del Rey Marriott Hotel.
Here are some reasons you might want to consider signing up:
There will be 10 panel discussions about a variety of topics. Subjects include “How to not FAIL at getting search traffic,” “When to raise money and when to bootstrap,” and “Links matter: How to measure and attain them.”
All of the panel discussions will occur at separate times. This means that you won’t have to miss out on any topics or speakers you’re interested in.
Each discussion will involve at most three online marketing experts. With just two or three speakers on a panel, each speaker can truly delve into the nuts and bolts of the issue at hand. This strategy also ensures there’s time for audience interaction.
There will be numerous opportunities to network. Each day of the conference there’s a breakfast, lunch, dinner and party.
The Marina del Rey Marriott Hotel is right on the water. It is next to Marina Beach, and three blocks from Venice Beach. If you want to stay here overnight, conference organizers have negotiated a discounted room rate.
