Hey Guys,
I've been reading trough the comments posted about my article yesterday. Many were angry and upset at me personally, and I feel pretty crummy about this. So, I'd like to apologize to everyone.
While people were upset at many things, the two most common complaints were:
- Failure to more clearly differentiate between "SEO Spam" and "good SEO".
- Failure to provide a more balanced view in presenting the arguments.
The feedback is duly noted, and I've updated yesterday's article to try to present a more balanced view. You have my word that I will try my best to ensure that this won’t happen again!
I sincerely apologize for this!
Sincerely,
Larry

Hi again Larry,
I wrote a second ranting and raving comment before I saw this post. Kudos to you for rethinking it. And now you've got lots of interaction and a pretty solid piece of content. So it turns out that yesterday's post has evolved into something useful.
No hard feelings - I have been on a possibly misguided mission to call out SEO BS when I see it to try to cut down on some of the confusion and help improve the SEO industry's reputation. Unfortunately the shadier SEO types are not as comfortable with open discussion - so thanks for letting me vent.
Cheers,
Nick

Larry,
It takes a great man to admit his mistakes. All that is important is that the difference between good SEO and SEO spam is recognized. Knowledge is wonderful and I try to help out as much as I can.
