I think the claim above (and it may still be a bit bombastic :)) is simply that you don't really need to be paying for traditional keyword research tools when you can get the same suggestions free (from our tool or from Google's).

As for more specific numbers you can export data to get numerical weightings that offer a bit more data than the blue bars, but as of right now they just measure relative popularity from our data sets. The feedback on giving traffic estimates is definitely one we've heard and we're certainly considering it for the second rev of the tool.
