Honored by Search Engine Land, US Search Awards, and Google
Boston, October 27, 2015 – WordStream Inc., a provider of online advertising software and services, closed Q3 with high distinction, having won three industry awards and earning top marks in the recent G2 Crowd Grid report for search advertising.
The company’s founder and chief technology officer, Larry Kim, was honored at the first annual Landy Awards in New York City on Sept. 30, celebrating the best search marketing agencies and consultants around the world. Kim took home the award for “Search Marketer of the Year (Male).” He was selected by members of the Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO).
Just a week later, Kim was honored again as the “US Search Personality of the Year” at the third-annual US Search Awards, which were handed out during the Pubcon event in Las Vegas. Kim was selected from a record number of entries by a panel of 30 industry experts. The awards were presented to 22 agencies and individuals for achievements in the US search and digital marketing industries.
WordStream is also thrilled to have earned “leader status” in G2 Crowd’s Fall 2015 Rankings of the Best Search Advertising Software. The distinction acknowledges WordStream with the highest overall “Satisfaction” score based on G2 Crowd’s 600-plus reviews written by business and advertising professionals. Since the winter 2015 Grid report, WordStream moved from the Niche Quadrant to the Leaders Quadrant as its satisfaction score increased by 40 points and its market presence increased by 17 points.
