Reporting: Reports to the Vice President of Sales

WordStream is searching for a Sales Support Specialist to join our inside Sales Team at our headquarters in Boston. The SEM/PPC space is growing and our goal is to provide small and medium-sized companies the tools to navigate the world of PPC with success. Our Saas platform helps firms maximize search engine marketing effectiveness so they can acquire more customers at lower costs.

Sales Support Job Purpose 

Supports Representatives and Managers by tracking, investigating, and reporting sales information; resolving problems and improving efficiency within Sales Department.

Examples of Sales Support Job Duties:

  • Maintains Salesforce.com Lead database by inputting and updating data.

  • Updates managers and Sales Reps by consolidating, preparing, and forwarding daily action summaries and monthly reports.

  • Resolves problems by investigating data history and maintaining knowledge of department policies and initiatives.

  • Acts as the liaison between Sales Representatives and Managers with other Departments including Marketing, Finance and Product.

  • Assists in preparation of Sales trainings, meetings and presentations.

  • Tracks and coordinates Sales expenses and Team activities.

  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

  • Accomplishes department and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Skills/Qualifications

Data Entry Skills, Reporting Skills, Administrative Writing Skills, Understanding the Customer and Sales Representative goals, good communication, Self-Development, Attention to Detail, Professionalism, proficient with Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office, Teamwork is a must.
