WordStream Wins the 2018 Content Marketing Award for Best Topic-Specific Blog

BOSTON, MA, JULY 18, 2018 - WordStream, Inc., a provider of online advertising software and services, was honored last week as the Best Topic-Specific Blog in the 2018 Content Marketing Awards. The company was recognized for its popular online marketing blog, which publishes daily posts to educate small business owners and marketing agencies about the complicated worlds of pay-per-click advertising, social media marketing, and more.

WordStream’s highly respected blog attracts over 1.5 million unique visitors every month. More than half of the site’s overall traffic comes from the blog, and its daily posts are responsible for generating inbound leads for the business. In fact, across all leads who qualify for the WordStream software, more than 50% initially engage with the business through its blog. As such, the company’s consistent stream of high-quality, accessible content has become its largest driver of business growth.

“I am beyond proud of the work our content team has done,” said Laura Taylor, Senior Vice President of Marketing at WordStream. “For close to 10 years we have upheld high standards for the quality and usefulness of our blog. The team have proven themselves indispensable when it comes to our core mission: delivering value to our customers and making the lives of small business owners just a little bit easier.”

The Content Marketing Awards are hosted by the Content Marketing Institute and strive to honor the best individuals and organizations involved in the development, production, and distribution of content marketing. Well into its second decade of recognizing greatness, the CMAs welcome entrants of all different sizes and structures from all countries, making it the world’s predominant content marketing awards platform.

This year, the judges evaluated over 1,100 entries and selected the very best examples of truly excellent content marketing. Among the winners were Constant Contact (Best Multi-Author Blog), Cricket Wireless (Best Use of Facebook in Content Marketing), and Dell Technologies (Best Podcast/Audio Series).
