Elisa Gabbert

Elisa GabbertElisa Gabbert is the Content Marketing Manager at WordStream, where she manages the WordStream Internet Marketing Blog, social media efforts and other content marketing strategies. She has been writing, blogging, editing and doing SEO in the technology and media industries for about seven years. Prior to WordStream, Elisa worked at TechTarget as an editor and SEO specialist for websites covering Oracle technology and applications, software quality and the IT channel.

Originally from Texas, Elisa studied linguistics and cognitive science at Rice University and received an MFA in poetry from Emerson College in 2005. She currently lives in Denver, Colorado, with her husband, the writer John Cotter. Tom Demers

Tom DemersTom Demers is the former Director of Marketing at WordStream. Tom has worked in-house as an SEO specialist and SEO manager and regularly engages in SEO and PPC consulting. Currently, Tom is a regular contributor to the WordStream blog. He also serves as co-founder and managing partner at Measured SEM LLC, a boutique search marketing agency offering search engine marketing services including pay-per-click account management, in-depth SEO audits, content marketing strategy, and several types of link building services such as guest posting packages and blog consulting strategy.

While Tom is interested in a variety of marketing channels, he's particularly passionate about search, voraciously consuming content from around 50 search-centric blog feeds. He's also a proud father and an avid reader (favorite being 19th century Russian literature). He received a B.A. in Philosophy from Wheaton College, and consumes anywhere between eight and sixteen Diet Dr. Peppers a day (seriously: people are concerned). Tom has written a series of articles around the Web, including contributions to industry-leading publications such as Search Engine Journal, Search Engine People, Search Engine Guide, Web Analytics World, PPC Hero, & others. Larry Kim

Larry KimLarry Kim is the founder and VP of Product Development at WordStream. Larry founded the company in 2007. He bootstrapped WordStream by providing search marketing consulting services while managing a team of engineers and marketers to productize various search engine marketing tasks. In August of 2008 he secured a Series A venture capital investment from Sigma Partners. In September 2008, he resigned as company president and CEO to focus on WordStream’s marketing and product management.

Larry has a background in software engineering, software product management, and product marketing (including SEO and PPC), for several widely-used software productivity tools over 10 years. Additionally, Larry is the author of four award-winning books on software development:

Megan Marrs is a blogger, copywriter, and general marketing associate at WordStream. Megan graduated from College of the Holy Cross in 2010, where she majored in English Literature and minored in Visual Arts.
